“A deep sense of love and belonging is an irreducible need of all people. We are biologically, cognitively, physically, and spiritually wired to love, to be loved, and to belong. When those needs are not met, we don't function as we were meant to. We break. We fall apart. We numb. We ache. We hurt others. We get sick.” --Brene Brown
This 4 hour weekend workshop will be multifaceted. We will be using the questions and prompts from Stoke Your Woke, body-based awareness practices, and movement to explore the evocative subject of belonging.
What does belonging mean to each of us? What are the cultural and social overlays?
You’ll be writing, sitting, lying, listening, moving, and sharing.
You’ll have aha moments, insights, connection, and fun.
You’ll get a taste of inter-connectivity, see some blind-spots, and touch your depth.
Payment includes a copy of the Stoke Your Woke Interactive Journal.
Small group. Space is limited. Pre-registration requested. Pay from the heart sliding-scale.
